Hi this is Mandy, yes I am still here lol although I know I don't get on line much these days. I am ouch, 62 on halloween this year - spooky lol. I have two dogs, charlie a bichon friese who is a proper cowardy custard, he is 5, Tammy a staffy cross who is bless her, 16 years young - she was a rescue dog. I also have two cats, Peterpan who is a Birman and is 6 and Bertie a ginger mix who is 1. I have COPD, arthritis, asthma, fybro and diabetes. I will not give in though and am determined to keep going and with all the support the group has offered in the past it has been terrific. So hope it gets up and running again - believe me it is the best. Hope all are okay, thinking of you all, take care, Mandy xxx

Hello, my name is Ruth, I am 74. Sue introduced me to here and ladyscarecrow has been in touch with me. I was diagnosed two weeks ago with a small malignant breast lump, after tests practically every day I go in to have the lump removed on Monday 1st December. I live in London, have a son, married daughter and five grandchildren. My youngest daughter died age 47 nearly three years ago, the grandchildren are hers. I have owned dogs for about 45 years, mostly rescue ones, my last one, a German Shepherd called Major, died a couple of years ago, he was amazing. During my working life I was an Occupational Therapist working with the mentally ill. disabled and elderly, I loved the work but put me in hospital as a patient and then you have the biggest coward there is! That is all for now folks, look forward to meeting you all. Take care xx

Hi! I'm Maggi. I'm coming up 52 (on 20th December). Ive been married for thirteen years to Ynys. I have two sons, aged 34 & 16 and two step-daughters, aged 28 & 24. I have a very painful spinal condition that keeps me virtually housebound. Because of this, my hobbies tend to be sedentary. I enjoy knitting, reading and watching my garden birds. I live in Nottinghamshire. I welcome contact with other members.
