Hi Mandy here, thought I would try to add a bit to this to help get the group back and am sure we will so long as we keep trying. I am 62, well nearly, have osteo and rhem arthritis, diabetes, enlarged heart, copd, fybromyalgia, continence probs, asthma and a couple of other bits and pieces. I had cancer when was 23 and over five ops had womb etc removed, thankfully no repeat now. Has anyone any info on copd please as know only a little bout this? Hope you are all as well as poss. Oh forgot, I use wheelchair and sticks, also have a scooter and am not allowed out alone - but have to sometimes - as get dizzy and can meander when trying to walk. Please take care everyone, love and hugs Mandy xxx

I'm feeling really odd girls, I don't know if I have Vertigo (Doc days yes) or panic attacks, lack of eating or just diabetis playing up. Doc tells me that ALL the symptons I have are from the Vertigo, I did have it years ago, but can't recall feeling this way. I feel more fed up that usual and I was wondering if it is panic as certain things are beginning to start me panicking now which I also hate as its loss of control, I feel that someone is controling my feelings lol Any idea's? Thanks Mandy, thats what my husband and Tiffany think too, but I can't think what the hell I am panicking over. It's bloody silly after all the health things I've been through to get panicky now. Am working through it though am trying really hard not to let it get to me, being back on the comp is helping me 1000% percent and I'm so glad that I haver you guys to support me, see that's what this group does best. I've been feeling really rubbish recently, i have 4 boils on my body, one on my right calf and lets just say SITTING down is painful, there's the rest. I have a really sore, swollen and red, right lower calf, where that cream burnt my skin, that leaking water all over the place. That gash on my leg from last Autumn is STILL there and a bit sloughy, & leaking gumph too. I'm just feeling a little down at the moment, I feel full of infection and TRYING to see a GP is like getting an audience with The POPE where I live to.

Oh boy ! We are in another bit of bother here . Hubby who has angina has had some chest pain and been told he has had a heart attack . He has 2 leaking valves in his heart and they tried beta blockers to slow the heartbeat down , less leakage if it works . It didn't and he was so ill with the meds and almost passed out in town while on his own . Now the docs at the hossie are talking bypass, now he is panicking like nobody's business . He is telling me how to recycle and do other things , just incase he says !!! He thinks he is going to die on the table while having the op . What am I supposed to do ? He has never had an op as such , he did have an op on his arm to make a fistula ( 2 viens sewn together ) for the needles in the renal for his dyalisis for his kidneys . It's very hard to not tell him off , but , some peeps are scared of ops. Myself , I have had that many ops I think nothing of it now .Look like the map of Britain lol ! He has told the nurse at the renal that he can't leave me on my own at home . Hope he is not trying to put off the op by making excuses like that . my son can come and live with me while he is in hossie and I will make sure I am with him when he sees the doc . Well, that's my news for now and will post news as it comes . Take care all Edd xxx

I should be over the Moon, having been awarded the DLA and having taken delivery of a brilliant wheelchair......
However, my pain continues unabated. Even the morphine I've been prescribed doesn't help.
Now, my eczema has flared up really badly.
The itching drives me insane - especially at night, in bed.
I've tried all manner of over-the-counter preparations and any number of prescribed treatments, but nothing eases the terrible itching.
Now, it's spread and is affecting some very intimate regions......
As if the on-going pain isn't bad enough, I now have this infernal itching to put up with.....!
Any suggestions.....?
