Well guys, here I am sat here worried to death about my eldest daughter, Danielle. She is almost 4 months pregnant, and she has been warned that her heart problem is causing her doctors sleepless nights.
When she went in today, on one of her weekly visits, the Nurse immediately picked up on her cyonosis, BLUE colour, the Heart surgeon said that she might have to have the new baby a different way then she had Delfhe by. I can only summise this means by a C. Section.
She has regurgatation of the Pulmanary valve, left over from the Open Heart Surgery at the age of 9 months, in 1977, plus a small hole in the Mitral valve, placed at the back of the heart.
She has lived with this, not too badly, well she has almost totally ignored it all her life to be frank, acting like her shortness of breath was to be hid from public view. SADLY, now she cannot hide it as it is blazingly obvious to everyone that she is suffering with it.
She has to go to hospital now every week, alternating between the heart surgeon and the OBI, I have been So worried since she told me that I just cannot sleep. I'm down here until 4 or 5 am every morning, watching tv or something else.
She has to rest up, keep her feet up as much as she can, all whilst having Delfhe who is now 15 months, who runs everywhere now, lol, working as a Supply Teacher and runing a home and a small holiday club in the half term too.
She is shattered, so tonight, we three sat down to have a chat, that's Roger, Tiffany and myself and decided to help her out even more than we already do, but also to have a word with her partner, so her can pull his finger out too, but poor guy works such long hours. Its hard for the youngsters these days with bills, mortgages and whatever they have to pay out.
She really is not carrying this baby very well, and as her mother I am concerned about her, I'm glad the hospital is keeping a closer eye on her though, that does give me more peace of mind.
